# Picking a photo for the bby wow dance effect: do and don't

The bby wow effect animates a single picture into a party-dance clip, so the photo does almost all the work. There is no prompt to fix a poor choice afterwards.

**Do**
- One adult in the frame.
- Face turned toward the camera.
- Soft, even light (a window on a cloudy day works well).
- Upper body visible, not just a head crop.

**Don't**
- Sunglasses or anything hiding the eyes.
- Group shots, even with two people.
- Dark rooms or harsh backlight.
- A tiny figure far away in a landscape.

Only use photos of adults who have agreed to it. Celebrities and children are not allowed.

The [bby wow ai](https://videofx.io/bby-wow-ai) page on [videofx.io](https://videofx.io/) charges 270 credits per clip. If a render fails, those credits come back automatically, which is one more reason to pick a clean photo the first time.
