Steering the beat: style weight, creative variation and exclude styles

The style buttons pick the broad sound. Three extra controls decide how closely the song follows it.

Style weight is a dial for how much the chosen style counts.

Creative variation is a dial for how much each run is allowed to differ.

Exclude styles takes a list of styles to avoid. Use it when a draft keeps drifting toward a sound you do not want.

A simple routine: generate once with the defaults, then change one control at a time and rerun, so you know which change made the difference. Several music models are available, and the "Instrumental (no vocals)" switch works with all of these settings.

The same controls appear on the song maker for fictional rival songs. Start any idea on the AIRapGenerator home page.
