# From a new stage name to a first song idea

Picking a stage name is often the first step before anything gets recorded. The rap name generator gives 12 names per click, built from rap-style word lists plus words you type, and it runs in your browser with no sign-in, no account and no credits.

Once a name sticks, the "Make a song" button opens the home page with a debut song idea already filled in, so you can go straight from name to track. Songs need a Google sign-in and credits.

Before you commit to a name:

- **Copy your favourites** with the Copy button and sleep on them.
- **Search streaming and social apps.** The generator does not check whether a name is already taken.
- **Consider trademark advice** before releasing music.

Then let the debut idea be about the name itself: where it came from, what it means to you. Get names from the [stage name generator](https://airapgenerator.co/rap-name-generator) and songs from [AIRapGenerator](https://airapgenerator.co/).

AIRapGenerator is an independent AI rap tool, not affiliated with any artist, label or other app with a similar name; lyrics are kept playful or fictional.
